A payment is only useful when the seller can follow it. What did the customer pay? What was the fee? Has a refund changed the balance? Those answers should be easy to find, from the first sale onward.

That means clear pricing, useful developer tools, and payment records that tell you where your money is. It also means being direct about what works today and what still needs work.
